"Above all else it is about leaving a mark that I existed: I was here. I was hungry. I was defeated. I was in love. I was afraid. I was hopeful. I had ideas and I had a good purpose and that's why I made works of art." -- Feliz Gonzalez-Torres

Self-Portrait Challenge: NEW YEARS RESOLUTION
A resolution tends to be something that you START... and something that can be ACCOMPLISHED throughout the year.... Mine is more something that needs to be a daily remembrance; a constant reminder. It is: STOP WORRYING SO MUCH ABOUT THINGS THAT ARE BEYOND MY CONTROL, and LET GOD HANDLE IT.
Hello, Annie. I ran across your blog by clicking the "next blog" button a few times, and I just thought I'd say "good luck" with your resolution. It's a good one.
I say things I wish I wouldn't, and I don't say things I should. I'm completely happy one second, then crying my eyes out the next. I'm content with who I am some days, other days I hate myself. I get mad. I make mistakes. I have regrets. I try to do the right thing, yet more often than not, I fail. Basically, I'm just a teenage girl living in a complicated world, and it's but by the grace of God I make it through day by day.

I really like your resolution, it's a little similar to the one I made in my SPC.
